NZESL Otaki

As New Zealand's leading provider of electronic shelf labelling solutions, NZESL required a purpose-built facility in Ōtaki to support its continued growth and increasing operational demands. The brief called for a highly functional warehouse and distribution space combined with a modern office environment that would enhance staff collaboration, customer engagement, and future scalability, all within an efficient footprint.

Engaged under a full design and build contract, Homestead partnered closely with NZESL from concept through to completion, managing all aspects of the project to ensure alignment between design, budget, programme, and operational requirements. The completed facility delivers approximately 500m² of warehouse space alongside 190m² of contemporary office accommodation across two levels, creating a cohesive environment that supports both logistics and administration functions.

Located within the growing Ōtaki Commercial Park, the development reflects NZESL's position as an innovative, technology-driven business while providing a practical and efficient base for future expansion. Drawing on experience gained from previous projects within the park, Homestead streamlined delivery and maintained programme certainty, enabling NZESL to focus on its business while construction progressed.

The result is a striking and highly functional commercial facility that not only meets NZESL's operational needs today but also provides the flexibility to adapt and grow alongside the business for years to come.
