ELK Storage Solutions set out to create a secure, purpose-built facility tailored to the growing demand for motorhome and vehicle storage. The challenge was to deliver a development that balanced security, accessibility, and durability, while ensuring each unit was practical for larger vehicles and easy for customers to use on a day-to-day basis.
Engaged for the full design and build, Homestead managed the project end-to-end, from initial site clearing through to civil works, construction, and final delivery. This integrated approach ensured clear coordination across all stages, reducing delays and maintaining control over both programme and quality.
The development comprises 11 high-stud units, ranging from 10x4m to 6x3.6m, designed to accommodate a variety of vehicle sizes, including motorhomes. Careful consideration was given to access and manoeuvrability, with a fully formed concrete yard enabling easy circulation throughout the site.
Security and user experience were key drivers of the design, with swipe card entry, 24/7 access, and secure perimeter fencing integrated into the overall solution. By aligning site layout, structural design, and operational functionality from the outset, Homestead delivered a facility that is both highly practical and built for long-term performance.
The result is a robust, user-focused storage solution that meets the needs of a growing market, combining security, accessibility, and efficient design in a cohesive, well-executed development.
